ShuttingOfftheEngine
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Ensure
thattheengineshutsoffwithin
3secondsafterreleasingthe
blade-controlbar.
Toshutofftheengine,releasetheblade-controlbar.
Important:Whenyoureleasetheblade-control
bar,boththeengineandbladeshouldstopwithin
3seconds.Iftheydonotstopproperly,stop
usingyourmachineimmediatelyandcontactan
AuthorizedServiceDealer.
RecyclingtheClippings
Yourmachinecomesfromthefactoryreadytorecyclethegrassandleafclippingsbackintothelawn.
Iftheside-dischargechuteisonthemachine,removeitandlocktheside-dischargedeector;refertoRemoving
theSide-DischargeChute(page17)beforerecyclingtheclippings.
Important:Ensurethattherearplugislockedinplace.Tolocktheplug,raisethereardeector(A
ofFigure16),rmlypushthepluginuntilitsnapsintoplacebehindthetabs,androtatetheleveron
theplugtotheleft(BofFigure16).
