independentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforwardor
backwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforwardor
inreverse;wheelspeedisproportionaltotheamountthe
leverismoved.Movethecontrolleversoutwardfromthe
centertotheNEUTRAL-LOCKpositionandexitthemachine
(Figure5).Alwayspositionthemotion-controlleversinto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKpositionwhenyoustopthemachine
orleaveitunattended.
Parking-BrakeLever
Theparking-brakeleverislocatedonleftsideoftheconsole
(Figure5).Thebrakeleverengagesaparkingbrakeonthe
drivewheels.
Toengagetheparkingbrake,pulluptheleveruntilitlatches
intothedetentslot.
Todisengagetheparkingbrake,pulltheleveroutofthe
detentslotandtowardyou,thenpushitdown.
FootPedalDeck-LiftSystem
Thefootpedaldeck-liftsystemallowsyoutolowerandraise
thedeckfromtheseatedposition.Youcanusethefootpedal
toliftthedeckbrieytoavoidobstaclesorlockthedeckin
thehighestheightofcutortransportposition(Figure5).
SmartSpeed™ControlSystemLever
TheSmartSpeed™Control-Systemlever,locatedbelowthe
operatingposition,givesyouachoicetodrivethemachineat
3speedranges—trim,tow ,andmow(Figure25).
