RemovingtheDischargeCoverforthe
SideDischarge
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethe
blade-controlswitch.
2.Ensuretheparkingbrakeisengaged,stoptheengine,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Removethe2boltsandnutsthatsecurethedischarge
covertothemower(Figure20).

3.Removethecutoffbafefromthemowerdeck(Figure
21).
4.Liftthegrassdeectorandslidethetabsontopofthe
dischargecoverunderthegrassdeectorretainingrod.
5.Rotatethedischargecoverdownovertheopening,and
ontothelowerlipofthemower(Figure22).
