Why aren't the blades rotating on my Toro TimeCutter?
    • D
      donnamurrayAug 26, 2025
If the blades on your Toro Lawn Mower do not rotate, install a new drive belt if the current one is worn, loose, or broken. If the drive belt is off of the pulley, install the drive belt and check the adjusting shafts and belt guides for the correct position. If the power-takeoff (PTO) switch or PTO clutch is faulty, or if the mower belt is worn, loose, or broken, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.

      Shawn BrownAug 23, 2025
If the starter on your Toro Lawn Mower doesn't crank, first, disengage the blade-control switch. Make sure the motion-control levers are in the PARK position. If the battery is dead, charge it. Check the electrical connections for good contact. Replace the fuse if it's blown. For a damaged relay or switch, it's best to contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
