servicingtheblade.Donotrepairoralterthe

Nevertamperwithsafetydevices.Checktheir

Tippingthemachinemaycausethefueltoleak.
Fuelisammableandexplosive,andcancause
personalinjury.Runtheenginedryorremovethe
fuelwithahandpump;neversiphonthefuel.
Toensureoptimumperformanceofthemachine,
useonlygenuineT ororeplacementpartsand
accessories.Replacementpartsandaccessories
madebyothermanufacturerscouldbedangerous,
andsuchusecouldvoidtheproductwarranty.
PreparingforMaintenance
1.Shutofftheengine,removetheignitionkey(if
equipped),andwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Disconnectthespark-plugwirefromthespark
plug(Figure27).

connectthespark-plugwiretothesparkplug.
Important:Beforetippingthemachineto
changetheoilorreplacetheblades,allow
thefueltanktorundrythroughnormal
usage.Ifyoumusttipthemachinepriorto
runningoutoffuel,useahandfuelpump
toremovethefuel.Alwaystipthemachine
ontoitsside,withthedipstickdown.
