1.Removethebatteryfromthechassis;referto
RemovingtheBattery(page39).
2.Chargethebatteryfor10to15minutesat25to
30Aorfor30minutesat10A.
Note:Donotoverchargethebattery.
3.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,unplug
thechargerfromtheelectricaloutlet,then
disconnectthechargerleadsfromthebattery
posts(Figure46).
4.Installthebatteryinthemachineandconnect
thebatterycables;refertoInstallingtheBattery
(page40).
Note:Donotrunthemachinewiththebattery
disconnected;electricaldamagemayoccur.

ServicingtheFuses
Theelectricalsystemisprotectedbyfuses.Itrequires
nomaintenance;however,ifafuseblowscheckthe
componentandcircuitforamalfunctionorshort.
Thefusesarelocatedontherightconsolenexttothe
seat(Figure47).
1.Toreplacethefuses,pulloutthefusetoremove
it.
