If there is dirt in the fuel filter, replace the fuel filter and clean the in-tank filter screen. Make sure to clean any clippings and debris from the underside of the machine. Finally, inspect the spark plug and adjust the gap if necessary, or replace it if it's pitted, fouled, or cracked.
