2.Whentheoilhasdrainedcompletely,replace
theplug.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatacertied
recyclingcenter.
3.Placeashallowpanorragunderthelterto
catchoil.
4.Removetheoldlter(Figure34)andwipethe
surfaceofthelteradaptergasket.

centerholeofthelter.Stoppouringwhenthe
oilreachesthebottomofthethreads.
6.Allow1to2minutesfortheoiltobeabsorbed
byltermaterial,thenpourofftheexcessoil.
7.Applyathincoatofnewoiltotherubbergasket
onthereplacementlter.
8.Installthereplacementoilltertothelter
adapter.Turntheoillterclockwiseuntilthe
rubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,then
tightenthelteranadditional1/2turn.
9.Removethellcap(Figure32)andslowlypour
approximately80%ofthespeciedamountofoil
inthroughthevalvecover.
10.Checktheoillevel.
11.Slowlyaddadditionaloiltobringtheleveltothe
upperholeonthedipstick.
12.Replacethellcap.
