Important:Operatingtheenginewithblocked
screensand/orcoolingshroudsremovedwill
resultinenginedamagefromoverheating.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandlower
theloaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andallow
theenginetocool.
3.Openthehoodandsecuretheproprod.
4.Cleananydebrisfromthefrontandside
screens.
5.Wipeawaydebrisfromtheaircleaner.
6.Cleananydebrisbuildupontheengineandin
theoilcoolernswithabrushorblower.
Important:Operatingtheenginewith
blockedscreensand/orcoolingshrouds
removedwillresultinenginedamagedueto
overheating.
7.Cleandebrisfromthehoodopening,mufer,
heatshields,andradiatorscreen(ifapplicable).
8.Closethehood.
CleaningtheChassis
ServiceInterval:Every100hours—Checkfordirt
buildupinthechassis.
Usingaashlight,openthehoodandinspectthearea
undertheengineregularly.Whenthedebrisis1to
2inchesdeep,haveanAuthorizedServiceDealer
removetherearofthemachine,fueltank,andbattery,
andushthechassisclean.

StorageSafety
Shutofftheengine,removethekey,waitforall
movingpartstostop,andallowthemachineto
coolbeforestoringit.
Donotstorethemachineorfuelnearames.
Storage
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrake,andlowertheloaderarms.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Removedirtandgrimefromtheentiremachine.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith
milddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthemachine.Avoidexcessiveuse
ofwater,especiallynearthecontrolpanel,
engine,hydraulicpumps,andmotors.
4.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner(page26).
5.Greasethemachine;refertoGreasingthe
Machine(page26).
6.Changetheengineoil;refertoChangingthe
EngineOil(page28).
7.Chargethebattery;refertoChargingtheBattery
(page32).
8.Checkandadjustthetracktension;referto
AdjustingtheTrackT ension(page35).
9.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.
Repairorreplaceanypartthatisdamaged.
10.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.Paint
isavailablefromyourAuthorizedServiceDealer.
11.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageor
storagearea.Removethekeyfromtheignition
switchandkeepitinamemorableplace.
12.Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
