Locking Channels
This feature allows you to program the "IV so that any specific channel cannot be viewed without the use of the Channel
Number buttons on the Remote Control.
There are 4 memory spaces for TV mode, 4 memory spaces for CABLE mode.

1 Select a channel you want to lock out. (Example: channel 4)
2 Press MENU (then ADV • or V) repeatedly
until "CH LOCK" in the Set up menu is
displayed in purple.

3 Press • (<) or • (>) until the channel
number you selected "4" replaces the zero
"0" in the channel lock program display.

4 Repeat steps 1 to 3 for other channels.
5 Select another channel before turning offthe "IV.
If you want to know the channels you have locked out
Press MENU to display the Set up menu.
1 Select the channel you want to restore to normal viewing by pressing
the Channel Number buttons. (Example: channel 7)
2 Press MENU (then ADV • or V) repeatedly
until "CH LOCK" in the Set up menu is
displayed in purple.
3 Press < (<) or• (>) until a zero "0" re-
places the channel number ("7" in this
example) in the channel lock program
display.
4 Repeat steps 1 to 3for other channels.
