Log on to the root account.

Enter the following command:
lpadmin -x <queue name>

Enter the following command:
rm /etc/lp/interfaces/<queue name>.conf

Log on to the root account.

ps -ef | grep lpsched | grep -iv grep > /dev/null 2>&1

Enter the following command:
echo $?

If “0” outputted on the screen, turn the scheduler OFF. Enter the following command:
/usr/sbin/lpshut > /dev/null 2>&1

Enter the following command:
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -x<queue name>

rm /etc/lp/interface/<queue name>.conf

If “0” was outputted on the screen in step 4, turn the scheduler ON. Enter the following
command:
/usr/sbin/lpsched > /dev/null 2>&1
