Removing the Display Assembly
CAUTION:
Use care to avoid the antenna cable being caught between the display assembly and the
laptop.
Remove the display assembly according to the following procedures and Figure 4.27.
1. Peel away the clear tape securing the LVDS cable connector in place, and disconnect the
LVDS cable from the motherboard.
2. Peel away the tape securing the two antenna cables (black and white) and the LVDS
cable, and pull the cables from the routing channels on the logic lower assembly.
3. Remove the LVDS cable from the logic lower assembly’s rib.
4. Remove the tapes from the logic lower assembly.
5. Remove the four M2.5x5 screws securing the display assembly.
6. Remove the display assembly from the logic lower assembly.
