Operating Basics
TOSHIBA DVD PLAYER
This software is provided for playback of DVD Video.
It has an on-screen interface and functions. Click Start All Programs
TOSHIBA DVD PLAYER TOSHIBA DVD PLAYER.

Please be aware of the following limitations when you use the TOSHIBA DVD
PLAYER:
Notes on use
nFrame dropping, audio skipping or out of synch audio and video may occur
during playback of some DVD Video titles.
nClose all other applications when using the “TOSHIBA DVD PLAYER”. Do not
open any other applications or do not carry out any other operations during
DVD Video playback. Playback may stop or not function properly in some
situations.
nDo not perform any of the following actions:
nOperate the computer for any other function, including using a mouse
to TouchPad or closing/Opening the display panel.
nBump or cause vibration to the computer.
nUse the Mode control button and Audio/Video control button to
reproduce music or voice.
nOpen the DVD drive.
nInstall, remove or connect external devices, including items such
as a: Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC),
Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick Pro (MS Pro), MultiMediaCard
(MMC), xD-Picture Card (xD), ExpressCard, USB device, external
display, i.LINK. devices, or an optical digital device.
nPlease verify your disc after recording important data.
nDVD-R/+R/+RW disc cannot be written in VR format.
nNot support to output VCD and SVCD format.
3. About recorded DVDs
nSome DVD-ROM drives for personal computers or other DVD players
may not be able to read DVD-R/+R/-RW/-RAM discs.
nWhen playing your recorded disc on your computer, please use TOSHIBA
DVD PLAYER software application (provided with some models).
nIf you use an over-used rewritable disc, the full formatting might be
locked. Please use a brand new disc.
