Procedure 3 Connection and Replacement Check
The power supply board is interfaced to the system board through the joint board, which may
be disconnected or damaged. Disassemble the T3400/T3400CT following the steps described
in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures, and perform the following checks.
Check 1 Make sure the power supply, joint, and system boards are firmly attached to their
connectors.

Re-attach any loose equipment. If the system is still not functioning properly,
perform Check 2.
Check 2 The power supply board may be defective. Replace the power supply board
following the steps in Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures. If the system is still
not functioning properly, perform Check 3.
Check 3 Replace the system board and restart the system. If the problem persists, go to
Check 4.
Check 4 Replace the joint board and restart the system. If the problem persists, other
FRUs may be damaged.
