CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE WINDSHIELD MOUNT/DASHBOARD MOUNT
Three suction cups:
To keep the suction cups adhered to the window, follow these simple maintenance instructions:
• Remove the mount from the windshield surface that it is on.
• Remove oil and dirt from the suction cups using a wet, soapy cloth.
• Dry the suction cups with a dry, lint-free cloth.
• Using a wet, soapy cloth, clean the surface that the suctions cups were stuck to, removing all traces of dirt
or oil. A dirty surface prevents the suction cups from sealing airtight.
• Rinse the soapy water off of the surface and then dry it with a lint-free towel.
Dashboard sticky mount:
• Remove the mount from the dashboard
• Dampen a cloth with warm water, wring it out, and then wipe the sticky pad.
• Dry with a lint-free cloth.
Allow the sticky pad to air-dry completely before using it.
• Before placing the mount back on the dashboard, clean the dashboard with a lint-free cloth to remove any
dirt or residue.
Solar battery and panel maintenance:
• It is best to shut the battery off when not in use.
Cleaning the solar panel:
With a dry, lint-free cloth, lightly wipe the surface to remove any dirt or dust.
TO AVOID DAMAGE, DO NOT CLEAN THE SOLAR PANEL WITH HARD MATERIALS OR LIQUIDS.
