proper methods of use.

Front

Unload the truck and park it on level
ground.
Chock the wheels.
With the mast vertical, raise the forks
about three feet and insert the jack
under the frame. Make sure that the
jack is properly positioned.
Jack up just prior to the wheels
coming up off the ground and loosen
the hub nuts.
Jack up until the wheels come off the
ground then remove the hub nuts and
remove the wheel.
To reinstall the wheel after changing a
tire, perform the steps for removal in
reverse order.
The hub nuts should be tightened
evenly and in the sequence shown in
the figure.
Rear
wheels
1.
Park the truck on level ground.
2. Chock the wheels, then insert the jack
under the counterweight.
Caution
Be sure to use a jack having a capacity
of
3.5
tons
(7,700
Ibs)
or more.

Jack up to just prior to the wheels
coming up off the ground and loosen
the hub nuts.
4. Jack up until the wheels come off the
ground then remove the hub nut and
remove the wheel.
5.
To reinstall the wheel after changing a
tire, perform the steps for removal in
reverse order.
6. The hub nuts should be tightened
according to the procedure in the
Toyota Repair Manual.
