Step 4 Insert the charging cable connector into the AC charging inlet.
Step 5 Confirm that the charging indicator of the charging port is illuminated.
Refer to the “Owner’s Manual” for limitations and more details.
- Charging will not start if the charging
indicator does not illuminate when the
charging connector is inserted.
- The charging indicator will flash and not
start charging when the charging schedule
is registered.
Turn “Charge Now” on to temporarily
cancel on “Charging Schedule” screen or
“Closing Display” screen.
- The amount of time until charging is
completed can be checked on the energy
monitor by turning the vehicle to on.
- The charging indicator will turn off when
charging is completed.
- Do not press the latch release button when
inserting the connector.
- Align with the guide position shown on
the bottom of the charging connector, and
push it in until it clicks.
- The charging connector will be
automatically locked when inserting it into
the AC charging inlet.
Press the latch release button while pulling toward you to release the
charging connector.

Attach the AC charging inlet cap and close the charging port lid.

When the charging equipment will not be used for a prolonged period
