Updating System Software
The Toyota Audio Multimedia system is capable of over-the-air, over Wi-Fi
®
, and through USB
flash drive updates. To use this function it is necessary to opt-in to the Connected Service
Master Data Consent. When the Toyota Audio Multimedia system software is updated, the
operating methods of functions may change. Each update will identify the proper updating
method to one or all of the following methods:
• Update the software using the Data Communication Module (DCM)
• Update the software using Wi-Fi
• Update the software using a USB flash drive
