HEATING VENTILATED & AIR CONDITIONER (HVAC) AND DEFOGGER CONTROL
VEHICLES WITH MANUAL HVAC SYSTEM
For your comfort and convenience, the vehicle’s air conditioning system controls can be
preset to operate the HVAC and Defogger systems while the engine runs in remote start
mode. The table below contains the settings recommended for best results. Users should
preset these before exiting the vehicle. Please see your vehicle’s owner’s manual for
available settings.

For vehicles equipped with Heated and Ventilated front seats these features can also be set
before you leave vehicle so that when the vehicle engine runs in remote start mode. When
the vehicle is remotely started, these features will provide you with additional comfort upon
entering the vehicle.
