RUNTIME AND AUTOMATIC ENGINE SHUTDOWN
RUNTIME
Any vehicle started with the Remote Engine Starter can idle for a total of 20 minutes.
Automatic engine shutdown occurs after 10 minutes, but the vehicle engine may be remotely
started a second time and run for an additional 10 minutes. After 20 minutes of total
operation, however, the vehicle engine must be started manually to reset the Remote Engine
Starter function.
NOTE: Hazard lights will flash once, when the engine shuts off. For vehicles equipped with door lock
buzzer, the buzzer will chirp every time the lights flash.
AUTOMATIC ENGINE SHUTDOWN
The engine will stop automatically after 10 minutes.
