Back panel connections
ANALOG OUT
The analogue output of the CD player supplies a fixed-
level output signal.
It is designed for connection to a pre-amplifier, integrated
amplifier or receiver with its own volume control.
The output sockets should be connected to the CD input
sockets (INPUT) on the pre-amplifier, integrated amplifier
or receiver, maintaining the correct L/R coding, i. e.:
‘ANALOG OUTPUT L’ to ‘INPUT L’
‘ANALOG OUTPUT R’ to ‘INPUT R’
DIGITAL OUT
(optional)
Digital co-axial output for connection to an external digi-
tal/analogue converter with an optical cable.

Both sockets are equivalent one is used as input, the
other one serves as output towards other R

devices.
RC-IN
RC input socket for connection to a
'R'-series pre-
amplifier, integrated amplifier or receiver or external IR
(infra-red) remote control receiver E2000 (* optional
accessory).
Mains input
The mains cable is plugged into this socket.

'INSTALLATION AND WIRING' and 'SAFETY NOTES'.
