At these inputs the DAC 8 accepts digital stereo signals conforming to
the AES/EBU norm, with sampling rates of 32 to 192 kSps.
USB
Socket for connecting a PC or MAC computer.
At this input the DAC 8 accepts digital stereo signals with sampling
rates of 44.1 to 192 kHz (USB 1 transfer max. 96 kHz).
If the
DAC 8
is connected to a PC or MAC computer, and is required
to convert audio files with a sampling frequency of more than 96 KHz
(max. 192 kHz), then you must first install the appropriate driver on
the computer (see section entitled USB Driver installation’); the
DAC 8 must also be switched over to USB 2 (see section entitled
System settings’).
