How to fix a Tractel Chain Hoists when the motor starts but the rope doesn't move?

If the motor starts but the rope does not move on your Tractel Chain Hoists, it could be due to a rope jam in the hoist caused by a damaged or incorrect rope, or an obstructed rope exit. To resolve this: * Support the load (e.g., with a wedge clamp or lever hoist). * Cut the rope in front of and behind the hoist. * Send the hoist to be repaired. * When available, install a new rope in replacement hoist.
