Battery Preparation

Follow the Battery Fill Procedure to fill and let the battery sit.

Tighten All Bar Bolts

Use 10mm and 12mm wrenches to tighten all previously installed bar bolts.

Install Rear Shocks

Install rear shocks, removing the shipping bar from the passenger's side mounts.

Secure Go-Kart on Jackstand

With assistance, lift the rear of the go-kart and secure it on a jackstand.

Install Battery

Place the battery, connecting positive and negative terminals correctly. Use pliers and screwdriver.

Secure Rear Axle Nut

Securely tighten the castle nut, aligning its holes with the axle.

Lift and Support Front

Raise the front of the go-kart and support it securely using jack stands.

Tighten Spindle Nuts

Use a 17mm wrench to firmly tighten both spindle nuts.

Reinstall Drivers Side Pins

Reinsert cotter pins, bend, and cut excess. Repeat steps for the driver's side.

Check Tire Pressure

Verify and set the tire pressure in all tires to 10 PSI using a low-pressure gauge.

Secure Steering Box Clamps

Secure the steering box clamps by tightening their four bolts and nuts.

Mount Steering Wheel

Mount the steering wheel with the center spoke facing down and front wheels straight.

Align Steering Wheel

Align the steering by turning the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position.

Adjust Tie Rod

Adjust the passenger side tie rod to achieve proper wheel alignment.

Adjust Wheel Position

Turn the rod to adjust the wheel's position inward or outward.

Set Front Wheel Toe-in

For final alignment, ensure front wheels toe-in by approximately 1/4" to 1/2".

Measure Wheel Spacing

Measure the distance between front wheels at the front and rear to adjust alignment.

Check Engine Oil Level

Find the oil dipstick and check the oil level, filling with 10W30 if necessary.
