The following pages include troubleshooting flowcharts in
reference to the BAYEV* communicating electric heaters ONLY.
The information contained is for reference only and does not
cover all scenarios or problems that may be encountered by a
field technician.
Only qualified technicians should should attempt to install,
troubleshoot, or repair this appliance. Failure to follow all
cautions and/or warnings could result in personal or property
damage; including death.
EHC Fault Codes
Flash Code 2 – Heat relay stuck closed
Flash Code 3 – Heat relay stuck open
Flash Code 4 – Non-cycling limit (NTCO) or element open
Flash Code 5 – Cycling limit (CTCO) open
Flash Code 6 – Configuration error
Flash Code 8 – Blower interlock relay error
