Disconnect all power
sources from air handler
Using ohm meter, place
leads across T1 & T2.
NOTE: If stuck closed fault occurs at 1
st
commission and all relays indicate to be
good, verify all heater circuits and wiring
to be correct.
Troubleshooting Communicating EHC
Fault Code #3 - Heat Relay Stuck Closed
Are zero ohms
read across T1 &
T2?
Faulty EHC. Replace
and check operation
YES
Using ohm meter, place
leads across T1 & T2.
NO
Are zero ohms
read across T1 &
T2?
Faulty EHC. Replace
and check operation
YES
Reset Fault History
and check operation
Verify all wiring
and connections
are correct.
NO
YES
