CAUTION
Equipment damage!
To prevent evaporator damage, do not exceed 150 psig (1035 kPa) evaporator water
pressure for standard water boxes. The maximum pressure for highpressure water
boxes is 300 psig (2100 kPa). To prevent tube damage by erosion, install a strainer in
the evaporator water inlet piping.
Condenser Piping Components
Piping components include all devices and controls used to provide proper water-sys-
tem operation and unit operating safety. These components and their general loca-
tions are given below.

To prevent tube damage, install a strainer in the condenser water inlet piping.
To prevent tube corrosion, ensure that the initial water fill has a balanced pH.
Water Treatment
CAUTION
Water Treatment!
Do not use untreated or improperly treated water. Use of untreated or improperly
treated water may result in equipment damage.
Using untreated or improperly treated water in these units may result in inefficient op-
eration and possible tube damage.
