Pre-Start-up
Inspection Items before Start-up
•
Inspect the connection of all wires. All electrical contacts shall keep clean and tight.
•
Inspect whether the supply voltage of the unit is normal.
•
Fill with water in the chilled water circuit. Keep the exhaust valve of the system open when
filling with water. Close the exhaust valve after filling with water.
•
Short-circuit the flow switch wire, and test the water system.
•
Switch on the main power supply, and press ON/OFF button on the control panel to start the
unit. At this time, the water pump should be started, and water is circulated in the chilled
water system. Inspect for leakage at all pipe connections.
•
Adjust the water flow in the chilled water circuit, and inspect the external water pressure (for
the standard unit) or evaporator pressure drop (for the unit including the water pump) of the
unit.
•
Stop the operation of water pump. Turn off all power supplies.
•
Connect the flow switch to the contact on the terminal board of the control box.
Caution
When the water pump operates, adjust the water flow to 50% of the Rated flow, and adjust the
contact of the flow switch to open circuit. Please use the ohmmeter to verify the on and off of
the switch contact.
Warning
When the ambient temperature is below 16℃ in winter, do not cut off the power supply, and
preheat the unit 24 hours ahead of start-up, otherwise the compressor will be damaged.
