Filling the Tank
Avoid using gasoline that has been stored
for more than seven days as it causes
malfunctioning and decreases the useful
life of the engine.
Fill the tank carefully not to spill the fuel.
Use common gasoline only (do not use
gasoline with additives)
Note the capacity of the fuel tank, and the
quantity and type of oil of the crankcase
(see “Technical Data”).
Warning!
Be careful: Gasoline is highly
flammable.
Close the tank, thoroughly
tightening the cover to avoid
leakage.
Never fill the tank with the
motor on.
Switch the motor off before
removing the fuel cover.
Do not add gasoline while the
motor is hot.
Air Filter
The air filter shall be always clean for the
engine to work perfectly.
Blocking of the air filter due to lack of
cleaning causes serious operating problems
for the engine, among them loss of power,
and damage to the cylinder, piston and
piston rings.
Air filter - foam
Dip and tighten (do not twist) it in a
solution of neutral detergent and water,
removing all the dirt.
Dry it, rolling and pressing it in a dry
cloth (do not twist it).
Moisten the filter slightly with clean oil
(20W-50), always pressing it to distribute
the oil equally, removing the excess.
Air filter - paper
Pass compressed air from inside to outside
the filter or knocking its base lightly
against a flat surface.
Warning!
All maintenance and cleaning should
be made with the equipment
switched off and the spark plug wire
disconnected.
