The model is designed for advanced users who are educated on the risks associated with LiPo battery use, though it comes with a NiMH battery.

Function Description:

The Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo is an electric-powered, remote-controlled vehicle primarily used for recreational off-road driving. Its robust design and advanced suspension system enable it to handle rough terrain, jumps, and high-speed maneuvers. Usage Features:

Ready-To-Run (RTR): The model comes pre-assembled with most decals applied, requiring minimal setup before use.
TQ 2.4GHz Radio System: Automatically locates and locks onto an available frequency, allowing multiple models to be raced without conflicts. Features steering trim adjustment and channel reversing (though factory-set).

XL-2.5 Electronic Speed Control: Offers three drive profiles:

Low-Voltage Detection: Built-in circuitry to prevent over-discharging of LiPo batteries. It is disabled by default for NiMH batteries but must be activated when using LiPo packs.
Water-Resistant Electronics: Receiver, servos, and ESC are designed to be water-resistant, allowing operation in wet conditions like puddles, wet grass, and snow. The transmitter is not water-resistant.
Dual Battery Capability: The chassis can accept two battery packs connected in parallel (using a Y-harness, Part #3064, sold separately) to extend run time. Batteries must be identical in type and capacity.
Adjustable Slipper Clutch: Torque Control slipper clutch integrated into the spur gear protects the drivetrain from over-stressing and can regulate power to the rear wheels.
Adjustable Ride Height: Threaded shock bodies allow for easy adjustment of ride height, affecting ground clearance and stability.
Adjustable Camber: Suspension pivot balls in the axle carriers allow adjustment of static camber, influencing handling and tire wear. Factory-set at negative 1-degree.

Maintenance Features:

Regular Inspection: Users are advised to frequently check for damaged parts, binding in wheels/steering, shock operation, frayed wires, loose connections, and the tightness of wheel nuts and screws.
Motor Maintenance: Every 10-15 runs, the motor should be removed, cleaned with aerosol motor cleaner, and its bushings or bearings lubricated with lightweight electric motor oil.
Chassis Cleaning: Keep the chassis clean of dirt and grime.
Shock Oil Replacement: Shocks require periodic inspection and refilling with 100% silicone shock oil to maintain damping performance and prolong seal life.
Drivetrain Inspection: Regularly inspect the driveline for wear, including drive yokes, axle half shafts, and gear tightness.
Differential Maintenance: Differentials can be disassembled, cleaned, and re-greased. The silicone differential fluid can be changed to tune performance characteristics.
Slipper Clutch Pad Replacement: The slipper clutch pad (friction material) wears slowly but should be replaced if it fails to provide consistent performance.
Receiver Box Seal: The unique design of the receiver box allows for removal and installation of the receiver while maintaining a watertight seal. Silicone grease should be applied to the wire clamp, and the O-ring should be properly seated.
Wet Conditions Maintenance: After running in wet conditions, specific procedures are required, including draining tires, rinsing the model, blowing off with compressed air, lubricating bearings/drivetrain/fasteners with water-displacing oil, and allowing the model to dry. The receiver box cover should be removed during storage to allow internal drying.
Battery Care: Always disconnect and remove the battery from the model when not in use or during storage. For NiMH batteries, proper recycling is encouraged. LiPo batteries require special care and handling due to fire risk.
