The position and mounting height produce two different detection areas:
Calculating the diameter:

Up to 2 m mounting height presence is detected and over 2 m motion is detected._
I NOTICE
The recommended maximum room height is 3 m for office applications and 4 m for corridor applications.
For presence detection, it is vital that arm movements, etc. can be detected. Position the sensor on the ceiling so that the room
user's hands are located in the centre of the detection area and are not concealed by display screens, backs, etc.
