Triplett 630 - Measuring DC Current; 0-60 μA to 0-12 A Measurement

MEASURING DC CURRENT
0-60 „А thru 0-12 Amps:
|. Insert test leads in У-0-А and COM—jacks.
2. Place selector switch in appropriate position.
3. Connect the test probes in series with the circuit (use
alligator clips) as shown in Fig. 3.
4. Read current on black "DC" scale.
The voltage drop across the VOM on all current ranges is 250
millivolts at full scale current. In most cases this voltage drop will
not affect the circuit being measured; however, in some low voltage
transistor circuits it may be necessary to compensate the circuit on
readings for the added voltage drop.
