  If your network uses a DHCP server, contact your network administrator to find out the IP address assigned to the card or check it during a terminal session at startup. You will need the MAC address of the SNMPWEBCARD. If your network doesn't use DHCP, or you need a static IP address, follow the instructions for assigning a static IP address using terminal mode configuration. Please refer to the printed manual that came with your SNMPWEBCARD or PDU for detailed instructions.

  If you're unable to receive traps at your management station, check the SNMP settings of the SNMPWEBCARD. Ensure the IP address and community name of the management station are entered in “NMS Access Settings” with either “Read Only” or “Read/Write” permission. Also, verify the trap recipient settings in the Contacts and Events menus.

  If you're unable to perform SNMP get operations, check the SNMP settings of the SNMPWEBCARD. The IP address and community name of the device or application attempting the SNMP get operation must be entered in “NMS Access Settings” with either “Read Only” or “Read/Write” permission.

  If you are unable to use autodiscovery to find the agent from your management station, check the SNMP settings of the SNMPWEBCARD. The IP address and community name of the management station must be entered in “NMS Access Settings” with “Read/ Write” permission. Note that versions below 12.04.0040 are not supported.
