Why Troy-Bilt TB210 Lawn Mower engine fails to start?
    • S
      Samuel EsparzaNov 16, 2025
Your Troy-Bilt lawn mower engine might fail to start due to several reasons. It could be that the blade control is disengaged, so engage the blade control. Another reason might be a disconnected spark plug boot, so connect the wire to the spark boot. The fuel tank might be empty or contain stale fuel, so fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. If your mower has a primer, the engine might not be primed, so prime it as instructed in the Operation section. Other potential causes include a faulty spark plug (clean, adjust gap, or replace), a blocked fuel line (clean it), or a flooded engine (wait a few minutes to restart, but do not prime). Also, check if the fuel valve is closed (open it) or if the engine is not choked (choke it). For electric start models, a burnt fuse could be the issue (...
