Other potential causes include a disconnected spark plug wire (connect the wire), an empty or stale fuel tank (fill with fresh gas), the choke not activated (place throttle in CHOKE position), a faulty spark plug (clean, adjust gap, or replace), a blown fuse (replace fuse), a flooded engine (crank with throttle in FAST position), parking brake not engaged (engage the parking brake), or the deck chute, mulch plug, or chute tube not properly installed (check their installation).
