Troubleshooting
Error Rectification
The device is not
working.
Check the fuses on the batteries.
Check the 7-pin connection line to
the EM 16 IU or EM 30 IU.
Erroneous filling level

all dirt and / or deposits from the
measuring rods of the sensor.

If these measures do not solve the problem, please
contact the Truma Service Centre.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of in line with the administrative
regulations of the respective land in which it is used.
National regulations and laws (in Germany, for example,
the Altfahrzeug-Verordnung [old vehicle directive]) must be
observed.
Safety instructions
Only qualified technicians may assemble and connect electri-
cal devices!
Ensure that the power supply has been disconnected! Discon-
nect the mains plug!
Only use the supplied lines and parts to connect the panel.
Only use suitable and fully functional tools.
Only wire the device as specified in the supplied wiring
diagram!
Installation
Installation in vehicles must accord with the technical and
administrative provisions of the individual country of use
(e.g. EN 1648). The national legislation and regulations must
be observed.
In other countries always observe the respectively valid
regulations.
Condensation may form if the Panel is taken from a cold
environment into the operating room. The system may
only be started after the temperature difference has been ad-
justed and when the panel is dry.
Install the panel in a place that is protected from damp and wet.
Prepare an installation opening for the device.
