Why is my Truper Air Compressor pumping oil?

  If your Truper Air Compressor is pumping oil, it might be due to several reasons. First, the admission filter could be blocked, in which case you should clean or replace it. Second, the oil viscosity might be too low, so you should change the oil to the correct type. Third, the oil level might be too high, so remove the excessive oil from the casing. Other possible causes are broken or not settled piston rings, or cylinders or pistons with scratches, wear or streaks. In these cases you should go to your nearest TASC*.

Why is the air feed reduced in my Truper Air Compressor?

  If your Truper Air Compressor has reduced air feed, the admission filter might be clogged, so clean or replace the filter. There might be air leaks in piping, so look for air leaks and use sealing tape in all the leaky connections. Other possible causes are leaky, broken, carbonized or loose valves or restricted air ducts, worn or scratched rod bearings, defective bearing in the crank or in the motor shaft, loose motor fan, or the transmission band has too much play. In these cases you should go to your nearest TASC*.

  If your Truper Air Compressor is experiencing excessive starting and stopping, it may be necessary to drain the tank by opening the valve on the lower side of the tank. Also, inspect for air leaks in the pipeline and use sealing tape on any leaky connections. If there are leaks in the tank security valve, inspect to detect leaks and if changing the valve is necessary go to a TASC*.

  If your Truper Air Compressor is not reaching its normal speed, double-check the feeding line voltage, the fuses, or correct the motor overload, as voltage drops in the feeding line might be the cause. Alternatively, consult with a qualified electrician if there's energy deficient regulation (unbalanced line). If a fault in the check valve is the cause, inspect to detect leaks and if replacing the valve is necessary go to a TASC*.

  If your Truper Air Compressor is running excessively hot, it could be due to several reasons. There is a possibility the flywheel is blocked, leaks in the tank safety valve, the oil level is too low, leaky, broken, carbonized or loose valves or restricted air ducts, or wrong rotation direction. In these cases you should go to the nearest TASC*. If the oil level is too low, add oil in the casing up to the right level.

  If your Truper Air Compressor motor is not running, double-check the feeding line voltage, the fuses, or correct the motor overload, as voltage drops in the feeding line might be the cause. Alternatively, consult with a qualified electrician if there's energy deficient regulation (unbalanced line). If the capacitor is faulty or damaged, ask for a motor capacitor check-up (only monophasic units) in a TASC*. Double-check if the tank pressure is higher than the cutting pressure in the pressure switch (the motor will start again when pressure in the tank drops below the cutting pressure). Check for leaks in the check valve and if replacing the valve is needed go to a TASC*. Verify if motor overload has been triggered and press the thermic button to restart the motor.

  If you hear banging and rattling sounds from your Truper Air Compressor, it may be due to several reasons. Loose pulley or excessive axial backlash in the motor shaft, coal in the upper side of the piston, leaky, broken, carbonized or loose valves or restricted air ducts, worn or scratched rod bearings, defective bearing in the crank or in the motor shaft, loose motor fan, cylinders or pistons with scratches, worn or with lines, or the transmission band has too much play. For service and repairs go to your nearest TASC*.

  Abnormal piston, worn ring or cylinder in your Truper Air Compressor can be caused by several factors. If the oil viscosity is too low, change and use the right type of oil. If the oil level is too low, add oil to the casing up to the right level. If the atmosphere is dusty, a more effective filter is needed in the air admission.
