With new motors, it is normal to observe
smoke emissions during and after is used for the first
time.

• Follow the safety standards for handling fuel (page 5).
• Allow the motor to cool down completely before
supplying fuel.
• Set the Gas Brushcutter into a flat surface.
• Wipe clean around the fuel tank cap to prevent
contamination.
• Slowly loosen the fuel tank cap.
• Use care to prevent leakages. Pour the fuel mix into the
tank. Follow the fuel specifications
(page 3).
• Before putting the cap back into the fuel tank check and
wipe clean the joints.
• Set immediately the fuel tank cap ant tighten with your
hand.
• Wipe clean any fuel spills.
Motor Fuel Supply
• Set the Gas Brushcutter on levelled ground using care
the blade is not making contact with any obstacle.
• Set the switch into the ON position (A).
• Press and release the Primer bulb 10 times (B).
• Move the Starter choke lever upwards (C).
• Press simultaneously the trigger release and the throttle
trigger. Still holding the trigger, push in the throttle lock
button and release the trigger.
• Pull the jack-line (D) to start the motor. DO NOT pull
more than 4 times to prevent flooding the motor.
• If the motor does not start, move the Starter choke lever
downwards (E). Pull again the jack-line (F) until the motor
starts. DO NOT pull more than 6 times (although, in cold
weather the jack-line has to be pulled more time).
• If the motor is still not starting, repeat steps from B and
on.
• Once the motor starts, leave it running a couple of
seconds in that position.
• Press and release the throttle trigger to run the motor
idle (G).
• The Gas Brushcutter is ready to operate. Hold both handles
and lift it to start the job.
