Why am I seeing poor spreading results with my TURFCO WIDESPIN 1530TM Farm Equipment?

  For poor spreading results with your TURFCO Farm Equipment, several factors could be the cause. The truck's engine RPM speed might be too slow, or the governor setting could be too low to provide sufficient hydraulic power. The spinner or conveyor belt speed control, as well as the metering gate setting, might be incorrect. Also, high moisture levels in the top dressing, incorrect vane angle adjustment, or the diverter being in the wrong position can lead to this issue. Unscreened material in the hopper or spinner attachment deflector, build-up of top dressing material on spinner wheels or other components, or damaged spinner wheels or assembly components could also be the cause.   If the spinner assembly or conveyor belt is not operating on your TURFCO Farm Equipment, the issue might stem from a lack of electrical power from the tow vehicle. Check all connections and grounds, and inspect the fuse in the power supply cable. The spinner speed control could be set too low. Alternatively, the truck's engine RPM speed might be insufficient, or the truck's governor setting could be too low to supply the necessary hydraulic power. The truck's hydraulic flow selector might be on the wrong setting. Ensure the spinner assembly hydraulic hoses and quick-release fittings are properly connected to the spinner assembly or the WideSpin 1530 valve block.
