4. Wait for headset and transmitter to pair. The LEDs on both headset and transmitter will turn
solid when the headset and transmitter pair successfully.
RE-PAIRING
You may -- very sparingly -- need to re-pair the headset. This would most likely happen
following a firmware update. Please note that you will need a paperclip or something similar for
this process.
To re-pair the headset and transmitter:
1. Start with the headset powered OFF. Make sure the transmitter is in the Xbox mode.
2. Press and hold the power button on the headset until the LED starts flashing rapidly.
3. Insert the transmitter into the console.
4. After a few moments, the headset and transmitter LEDs will become solid, indicating a
successful pairing.
Again, this process would need to be performed sparingly, most likely after a firmware update is
performed. Generally the headset and transmitter should be able to pair to each other on their
own.
