Why is the power cord of my Twin-Star International Indoor Fireplace getting warm?

A warm power cord during operation is normal. However, check your heater cord and plug connections. Faulty wall outlet connections or loose plugs can cause overheating. Ensure the plug fits tightly in the outlet. Since heaters draw more current than small appliances, overheating may occur even if it hasn't with other appliances. Frequently check if the plug outlet or faceplate is HOT during use. If so, discontinue use and have a qualified electrician check and/or replace the faulty outlet(s).
