Overview

The TWS i12 Ear-pods are wireless earbuds designed for audio playback and hands-free calling, offering a convenient and untethered listening experience. They are designed to automatically turn on and pair with a smart device once removed from their charging case, simplifying the initial setup process.

Function Description

The primary function of the i12 TWS Ear-pods is to provide wireless audio playback from a Bluetooth-enabled device. This includes playing music, podcasts, and other audio content. Additionally, the earbuds support hands-free calling, allowing users to answer, end, and reject phone calls directly from the earbuds. The touch controls on the earbuds facilitate these functions, offering a user-friendly interface for managing audio and calls without needing to interact directly with the connected device.

The earbuds come with a charging case that not only stores them but also recharges them. This case is essential for maintaining the earbuds' battery life and ensuring they are ready for use. The charging case itself is rechargeable via a USB cable, providing portability and extended usage time for the earbuds.

Usage Features

Turning On/Off: The i12 TWS Ear-pods are designed for ease of use. They automatically turn on and pair with each other once removed from the charging case. To turn them off, users need to press and hold the back of the earbud's sensor for 10 to 20 seconds, after which a beep will confirm that the earphone has turned off.

Pairing: Pairing the i12 TWS Ear-pods with a smart device is straightforward. When Bluetooth is enabled on the smart device, the earbuds will automatically turn on and attempt to pair. Successful pairing is indicated by the left earphone flashing blue and the red LED on the right earphone turning off, accompanied by an audible "connected" message. If the earbuds fail to pair with each other, users can delete previous pairing information, then long-press the power button of both earphones for 5 to 10 seconds to enter pairing mode. In this mode, the left earbud will blink blue, and the red LED on the right earbud will turn off upon successful pairing. If the headphones cannot sync within 5 minutes, they will automatically turn off. To delete paired information, while in pairing mode, press the back of the earphone on the sensor until the LED light turns red.

Music Playback Controls (Model 1): Different models of i12 TWS Ear-pods may have varying touch control functions due to different manufacturers. For Model 1:

  • Pause/Play: A single tap on either earbud.
  • Back: A double-tap on the right earbud.
  • Forward: A double-tap on the left earbud.
  • Volume Up: A triple tap on the right earbud.
  • Volume Down: A triple tap on the left earbud.
  • Call Siri: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds during playback mode.

Music Playback Controls (Model 2): For Model 2:

  • Pause/Play: A single tap on either earbud.
  • Call Last Contacted Person: A single tap when no music player is open.
  • Volume Up: A double-tap on the right earbud.
  • Volume Down: A double-tap on the left earbud.
  • Rewind/Previous: A triple tap on the right earbud.
  • Next: A triple tap on the left earbud.
  • Call Siri: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds during playback mode.

Phone Call Management:

  • Answer/End Call: Press the back of the earphone once.
  • Reject Call: Double-press the back of the earphone.

Maintenance Features

Charging the Earbuds: To charge the i12 TWS Ear-pods, place them into the slots of the charging case and then turn on the charging case. The LED indicator on the earbuds will flash red during charging and turn off once fully charged.

Charging the Charging Case: The charging case itself is charged using a USB cable. While charging, the LED indicator on the case will light up yellow and green. The blinking pattern of the LED indicates the battery level:

  • 2 blinks: 50% charged.
  • 3 blinks: 75% charged.
  • 4 blinks: 100% charged.

Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues:

  • Accidental Tapping on Left Earphone (Call Option): To prevent accidental call activation from the left earphone, users can go to their Bluetooth settings and turn off the "phone control" option, allowing the earphone to only access media. This, however, sacrifices complete tap control.

  • Only One Earphone Working/Not Connecting:

    • Diagnosis: When both earphones are correctly placed in the charging box, they should both show a red LED light. If only one light is blinking, it indicates that only one earphone is connected.
    • Solution 1 (Re-seating): Place both earphones back into the case, then take them out simultaneously and wait 20 to 30 seconds for them to pair.
    • Solution 2 (Manual Activation): Try pressing the non-working earphone for 3-5 seconds. If that doesn't work, try holding the sensor for about 30 seconds.
    • Solution 3 (Charging/Connection Adjustment): A non-working earphone might have a low battery or poor connection. If charging attempts fail, try moving the earphones around inside the box while the box light is blue. When they establish a connection, the light will turn red. If one side isn't charging, a paper towel or tissue can be folded and attached inside the box top lid to push the earphone against the charging terminal.
    • Hardware Fault: If Solution 3 is successful, it suggests a defect in the charging box. If none of the solutions work, the earphone itself may be faulty and require replacement.

These features aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable wireless audio experience, with clear instructions for operation and troubleshooting.
