DESCRIPTION

■ General construction

The transmission housing, Clutch housing, Engine and Front Axle Support are bolted together to form a

rigid unit

■ Front Axle & Wheels

The 4WD front axle is a center-pivot, reverse Eliot type. The front wheel drive mechanism is incorporated

as a part of the axle.

The front wheel drive power is taken from the rear transmission and transmitted to the differential in the

front axle where the power is divided into right and left and to the respective final reductions.

In the final reductions, the transmitted revolutions are reduced by the bevel gears to drive the front wheels.

The 4WD mechanism with bevel gears provides greater durability and better steering angles thus reducing

turning circles.

■ Engine

The tractors are fitted with fuel-efficient direct turbo charged injection engines with 3 cylinders of T700

■ Clutch and Transmission

A single composite* plate dry clutch(10.83″ diameter) is used on these tractors. Tractor with IPTO

(Independent Power Take Off) are fitted with a hydraulic Clutch Assy. The synchromesh shuttle Gear

box has sixteen forward speeds & sixteen reverse speeds of with selector lever. Presently, TYM Tractors

are fitted with partial synchromesh type gears.

■ Brakes

TYM tractors are provided with independent disc brakes operated by two separate pedals. A foot brake

(Hand brake) lever is fitted for parking. To assist in making sharp turns at slow speeds in field,

unlatch the brake pedals and depress the right or left brake pedals as required

Rear axle & Wheels

There are mounted on ball bearings and are enclosed in a removable housing, which is bolted to the

transmission case. The Rim & Discs fitted with Rear tires are bolted to the outer flange of the Rear Axles.

■ Hydraulic system & Linkages.

TYM Tractor is fitted with a Live (i.e. system is in operation even when clutch is disengaged.)

independent, hydraulic System. Three point Linkages can be used for category 2 type of implements

or category 1 by using reducing bushes.
