If the PTT key is pressed on your TYT Two-Way Radio, but no transmission occurs, there are a couple of potential causes. First, ensure that the microphone is properly connected. A poor connection can prevent transmission. Second, check the antenna connection. A loose or improperly connected antenna can also cause this issue; make sure it's securely connected.

If no sound is coming from the speaker of your TYT Two-Way Radio, there are a couple of things you can check. First, make sure that the squelch is not muted by decreasing the squelch level. Also, check to see if the CTCSS or DCS squelch is active and turn it off.

If the rotating dial on your TYT Two-Way Radio will not change the memory channel, it might be because the transceiver is in CALL mode. To solve this, press the VFO or memory mode button.

If the power is on but nothing appears on the display of your TYT Two-Way Radio, check the polarity of the power connection. Ensure that the red lead is connected to the positive terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal of the DC power supply.
