  Several factors can cause your U-Line refrigerator to not cool properly. The compressor might be overheating; verify proper airflow through the condenser and check if the condenser is clean. Also, confirm the condenser fan and compressor are operating correctly by checking the operating voltage. If the compressor is not operating, test the overload and relay, replacing them if needed. If the evaporator fan isn't working, further diagnostics may be required. If the compressor is operating but there is still no cooling, refer to the System Diagnosis Guide.

  If your U-Line refrigerator is freezing food, the control might be set too cold; adjust the Set Point Temp accordingly. Also, review the logged error codes. A thermistor failure could also be the reason; check the Error Log and OHM the thermistor.

  If your U-Line Refrigerator isn't cold enough, remember that air temperature doesn't always reflect the product temperature. You can find instructions on checking product temperature in the OPERATION section. Try adjusting the temperature to a cooler setting. Make sure the refrigerator isn't in a spot with high ambient temperatures or direct sunlight. Check that the door seals properly and closes correctly. Also, be sure the interior light hasn't been on for too long and that nothing is blocking the front grille at the bottom of the unit. Finally, ensure the condenser coil is clean and free of dirt or lint.

  If the display on your U-Line refrigerator isn't working, first check if the unit has been placed in Sabbath mode by pressing and holding the display for 5 seconds. If that's not the issue, verify that both ends of the display wiring are firmly connected. If the wiring is broken or damaged, perform a continuity test and replace the wiring as needed.

  Frost on the rear wall is normal and will melt during each off cycle. However, excessive humidity and high ambient temperature can cause frost to build up on the internal surfaces of your U-Line Refrigerator. If the build-up is 1/4" or more, manually defrost the unit. Also, make sure the door is closing and sealing properly to prevent further frost accumulation.
