7.2 Perform the Update Procedure
1. Connect the AV-30-E to the Windows PC through the DB-9
connection previously installed in Section 7.1.
2. Power on the AV-30-E and wait for the device to complete startup before
proceeding. Launch the previously downloaded AV Updater application.
3. On the AV Updater tool select the appropriate COM Port from the
dropdown menu and click “Connect”.
*The AV-30-E screen will go dark at this time but note that the device is still
powered on. This behavior is normal. Do not remove power from the AV-
30 during this process.
