8.3 Mounting
AV-

8.3.1 Remove AV-
30 From Instrument Panel (Optional)
It may be necessary, because of space limitations, to remove the AV

panel. Pull unit down to a workable position. Note that it may also be
necessary to disconnect the Pitot and Stat
Ensure that the lines are properly labeled before disconnecting.
8.3.2 AV-
30 Backshell Connector Removal
Using
a flat screwdriver, loosen the two [2] screws that hold the Backshell
Connector to the DB-
15 connector on the back of the
Backshell Connector is free to detach from the AV
bonding/ground strap
attached to the Backshell Connector.
8.3.3 AV-
Do not attempt to remove the two [2] captive Jack Screws from the AV
Housing. Attach the AV-
