Surge protect  on should be used for all outdoor  nstallat  ons. We recommend that
you use two Ethernet Surge Protectors, model ETH-SP, one near the NanoStat  on
loco and the other at the entry po  nt to the bu  ld  ng. The ETH-SP w  ll absorb power
surges and safely d  scharge them  nto the ground.
