SARA-R4/N4 series modules support VoLTE (Voice over LTE Cat M1 radio bearer) for providing audio
services.
SARA-R4/N4 series modules include an I

S digital audio interface to transfer digital audio data to/from an
external compatible audio device.
The digital audio interface can be made available as alternative function, in mutually exclusive way, over
the SPI interface pins (I2S_WA / SPI_MOSI, I2S_RXD / SPI_MISO, I2S_CLK / SPI_CLK, I2S_TXD / SPI_CS).
