6 Cleaning and Maintenance
Your UFO heater requires minimal maintenance. However, observing some simple guidelines
will help your heater operate safely and efficiently and prolong its life.
• Keep your UFO heater clean and free from dust or debris.
• Inspect the filament for any cracks or signs of overheating at the connections.
• Inspect the power cord for any cracks or signs of overheating.
• ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR HEATER BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Reflector of Filament :
Because the UFO heater is a radiant device, the reflector must be kept clean in order to
maintain optimum efficiency. When dust and debris build up on the unit’s reflector it will
lose its shine and reduce its efficiency. Dust and debris can be removed using a vacuum
cleaner or compressed air. Periodic cleaning will optimize your heater’s efficiency and improve
its appearance.
7 Original Filament Definition
Original filament (heating element and heating glass tube) bears UFO logo embossed on
quartz glass laser technology and markings indicating model and type of UFO filament as well
as serial number on the metal head.
Original spare parts should be used to ensure long life and efficient operation of the device.
Devices serviced using non original spare parts void product warranty.
